Claiming by e-mail

For speedy assessment, we allow you to send your bills by e-mail. If your claim is about your baggage, please refer to the next section.

Scan your original bills and corresponding receipts and send them to traveleclaim@ihi.com. You do not need to send the original bills through the post. However, we recommend that you keep the original bills until your claim has been assessed. All bills must specify:

  • the diagnosis;
  • type of service;
  • proof of payment;
  • cost of each service provided (consultation, laboratory examination, medicine, etc.);
  • If medicine has been purchased, a copy of the prescription should be included.

We invite you to submit your scanned bills together with one of the dedicated claim form:

Claiming for delayed, lost or damaged baggage

If you are claiming for delayed, lost or damaged baggage you cannot claim by e-mail. For these claims you need the original report from the airline or the company that handled your baggage. If your luggage are damaged (whether it can be repaired or not), lost or delayed, it is important that you immediately report this to a Passenger Agent at your destination, who will complete a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
